ourselves about anything, because we will let our spirit shine, which will let
others see us from afar and be the guide for humanity. Our hands will be
reaching up into the air because we have spirit and we are going to let it shine.
We are not leaving and are going to live in the moment and everybody is just waiting
for the lights to diminish so that we can shine. The music is on and I am now awake,
because the waiting is now over for we now have the love and no secrets to
keep. We are going to ignite our spirits so that nobody can put it out, so that
when others are lost; we will shine brighter and show love to the world. In
short, we are going to let our spirit shine for ourselves and for others.

others, and never let it diminish. The actions in the video and the tone of the
music really supports the meaning of the song. I feel that the lyrics of the
music has inspired me to let myself shine and be a guide to others. Others might
get inspired to do the same thing, or they might just like the song and
disregard the meaning. Ellie Goulding is using her point of view and she is
inspiring us to not be afraid and shine bright so that others can see us. The
point of the song is to inspire others and not be afraid of others might think.
